Description
Jackson Cianfrone came to Santa Barbara with his Italian parents in 1923 when he was one year old. He attended local schools including Franklin kindergarten and Santa Barbara Middle and High School. He was drafted into the military where he worked as a medic and when he returned to Santa Barbara he received a job as an employee at the Santa Barbara downtown Post Office. Through this job he was able to interact with many prominent community members such as Pearl Chase, Walker Tompkins, Thomas Storke, Prynce Hopkins, and Rosario Curletti.
