My favorite memory is celebrating Chinese New Year in the alley next to Jimmy's Oriental Gardens, put on by Tommy's dad. There were games, raffles and even firecrackers. I have a bowl that I won that night.
My favorite thing about volunteering with SBTHP is being a Native Santa Barbaran- having the Trust recognize the contribution of Asians. I never would have dreamed it possible.
